The Purple Crow Foundation Matching Grants Program

The Purple Crow Foundation Matching Grants are offered to employees of Purple Crow as part of a rolling, month-to-month match program. The Purple Crow Foundation will match up to $5,000 per employee per calendar year as the program rolls out in the second half of 2023.

Employees participate by making a payroll deduction to the benefit of one of the approved non-profit organizations listed below. Please complete this form and submit it to HR to get started!

The Purple Crow Foundation Matching Grant Partners

Following is the list of approved non-profit organizations as of this date, each of which has been vetted by The Purple Crow Foundation.

Triad-Focused Non-Profits:

Mi Casa – Immigration, tax preparation, translation services
Church World Service – Refugee and legal services
Rescue Mission – Local ministry to help hurting neighbors
Magnalia Homestead Foundation – Local community ministry for veterans; children and adults with special needs; community garden for delivery to widows
Salem Pregnancy Center – Local pregnancy care center
HOPE Winston-Salem – Health and hunger of local children and families
Energize Ministries – Provide proactive, preventive care to pastors, ministry leaders, and their families

National/International-Focused Non-Profits:

Compassion International – Child sponsorship in underdeveloped countries including much of Latin America
World Relief – Humanitarian, refugee resettlement, Evangelical
Samaritan’s Purse – International disaster relief, Operation Christmas Child
Serge – Global Christian missions agency
CCEF School of Biblical Counseling – Center to promote biblically based counseling for churches and families
St. Jude – Childrens research hospital
Fisher House – Provides homes for military and veteran families to stay free of charge while a loved one is hospitalized
Lantern Ministries – Rescues exploited, persecuted, and displaced individuals and families.

Second Harvest Food Bank – Local Food Pantry
